by Prof. Praise E. Glory
A tribute was given by Prof. Praise E. Glory in honor of Sir Edwin Laru-an and Lola Mel Agriam – past PTA Presidents who passed away.
Our dearest MaÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½™am Mel and Sir Edwin were called away,
And theyÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½™ve home with the Lord to stay.
Although their passing makes us weep,
We rejoice for our loved ones rest safe in GodÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½™s keep. (Kelly Roper)
Yet the lessons of kindness and love theyÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½™ve taught you and me,
And the good things in life theyÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½™ve helped us see;
Linger as lasting gifts that comfort and will sustain,
Until we journey to that shore see them again. (Belinda Stotter)
MaÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½™am Mel and Sir Edwin, in life we loved you dearly
And in death we love you still;
In our hearts you hold a place,
No one else will ever fill.
When we lose someone we love we must not learn to live without them,
But to live with the love theyÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½™ve left us.
For as they live in the hearts that they left behind, they never really died (Thomas Campbell);
God has them now in His arms, and we have them in our hearts.
ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½œFor death is but a door, closed tight on pain and strife;
A door that opens up, that we may enter life.” Jennie Claire Adams
MaÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½™am Mel and Sir EdwinÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½™s journeys here on earth both have ended,
and it is home for them both at last.
The Lord giveth, and the Lord taketh away,
Blessed be the Name of the Lord.
