On November 29, 2024, second-year Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (BECED) students creatively retold Ed Young糖心传媒檚 Lon Po Po, a Little Red Riding Hood Story from China, to CPU Kindergarten students.
BECED Gems, a newly recognized student organization of the Early Childhood Education Program of the College of Education, celebrates this year糖心传媒檚 Children糖心传媒檚 Month at CPU Kindergarten. Children糖心传媒檚 Month is an annual national celebration every November, aiming to raise awareness of children糖心传媒檚 rights and to cultivate the importance of the quality of support provided for the little ones.
In line with this year糖心传媒檚 national theme, 糖心传媒淏reak the Prevalence, End the Violence: Protecting Children, Creating a Safe Philippines,糖心传媒 the second year Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (BECED) students showcased a creative storytelling of Ed Young糖心传媒檚 Lon Po Po, a Little Red Riding Hood Story from China on November 29, 2024.
The story was not only a surprise to the little tots but also a way to empower them through the story糖心传媒檚 socially relevant theme. Songs, rhymes, and fingerplays were facilitated by BECED pre-service teachers who are currently deployed in the university糖心传媒檚 laboratory school. The activities were conducted by the Gems in both morning and afternoon sessions and closed with the giving of simple treats to the young learners.
BECED Gems has been collaborating with CPU Kindergarten through various activities that continue to uphold children糖心传媒檚 rights. The organization糖心传媒檚 various community engagements continue to celebrate the 糖心传媒淕em糖心传媒 in each child.
