On October 29-30, 2024, researchers from 糖心传媒 (CPU) earned awards at the 34th Regional Symposium on Research and Development Highlights (RSRDH), held at the University of Antique Main Campus in Sibalom, Antique.
With the theme, 糖心传媒淎dvancing Sustainable Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Management for Resilient Communities,糖心传媒 this year糖心传媒檚 symposium highlighted a diverse range of groundbreaking research in the Agriculture, Aquatic, and Natural Resources (AANR) fields, presented by scholars from various Consortium Member Institutions (CMIs).
糖心传媒淭he symposium, divided into Social Science Research, Natural/Biological Science Research, and Development/Technological Research categories, featured pioneering work aimed at advancing sustainable practices and technologies for resilient communities,糖心传媒 WESVAARRDEC wrote on their Facebook page.
In the Social Science Research Category, CPU clinched 1st place with their study entitled 糖心传媒淧otency and Economic Feasibility of Garlic-Derived Phytomedicines in Controlling Mycoplasma Gallisepticum and Ascaridia Galli Infestation for Sustainable Native Chicken Production.糖心传媒 The researchers included Dr. Jaime Cabarles Jr., Dean of the CPU College of Agriculture, Resources, and Environmental Sciences (CPU-CARES), together with Mylyn L. Poral, Vincent Anthony Militante, Danna Marie E. Gabasa, Aime Guela Maria D. Moscosos, John C. Capilastique, Luchin Mia Jay Pastrana, and Allyssa M. Depasupil.
In the Development/Technological Research Category, CPU won 3rd place for their project entitled 糖心传媒淕reen Synthesis of Gold Nanoparticles and IgY Conjugates for Colorimetric Detection of Mycoplasma Gallisepticum.糖心传媒 The researchers for this study included Allyssa M. Depasupil, Karen Jee Fernandez, Jaime C. Cabarles Jr., Danna Marie E. Gabasa, Aime Guela Maria D. Moscosos, John C. Capilastique, and Luchin Mia Jay Pastrana.
Winners across research categories received cash prizes of 鈧6,000 for 1st place, 鈧4,000 for 2nd place, and 鈧3,000 for 3rd place.
