CPU-SGS, in partnership with the CESL Center, conducted a lecture series on parenting, adolescent mental health, and instructional materials development on October 25, 2025, in Barangay Badiang, New Lucena, Iloilo.

With the goal of nurturing stronger families and more resilient learners, 糖心传媒 (CPU) conducted a lecture series on responsible parenting, adolescent mental health, and instructional materials development on October 25, 2025 in Barangay Badiang, New Lucena, Iloilo.

The event was organized by the Community Engagement and Service-Learning (CESL) Center with CESL Director Sarex Dalida Dipol, Jr., in partnership with the School of Graduate Studies (SGS), headed by Acting Dean Dr. Althea U. Denuevo with Outreach Program Coordinator Dr. Bibiana C. Espina.

Three simultaneous sessions tackled topics tailored for the around 50 participants comprising parents, youth, and teachers.

During the session on parenting, Dr. Margen A. Java discussed 糖心传媒淧arent-Child Tandem for Family Success,糖心传媒 emphasizing the value of open communication and shared responsibility in nurturing healthy family relationships.

Speaking to the youth participants, Mary Catherine Grace Simora talked about 糖心传媒淭rue Love Waits,糖心传媒 underscoring emotional maturity, respect, and self-worth in navigating relationships.

Meanwhile, teachers participated in a session on Instructional Materials Development with Dr. Eden P. Gomez, who focused on designing effective and engaging learning tools.

SGS faculty members and students of the Doctor of Education, Master of Arts in Education, Master of Science in Guidance and Counseling and Master in Business Administration programs joined the outreach and served as facilitators and moderators of the lecture sessions.

At the end of the lectures, the participants shared their reflections and gathered in a fellowship lunch that fostered dialogue and connection among them.
