The first virtual Graduate Education Multi-Disciplinary Research Colloquium was held on November 19, 2022 from 8AM to 5PM via Zoom. The regional conference of the School of Graduate Studies (SGS) was in cooperation with the Council of Graduate School Deans of Region 6 and the Commission on Higher Education.
The program proper started at 8:30 AM with an Invocation. Chief Education Program Specialist, CHED Region 6 糖心传媒 Dr. Rex Casiple delivered his welcome message. Dr. Rowena M. Libo-on, President-Council of Graduate School Deans Region 6 and Dean, CPU School of Graduate Studies) explained the rationale of the Webinar.
The conference was participated online by 糖心传媒 (Host) and other Schools and Universities in Western Visayas.
Prof. Ana Mae B. Cantel introduced the Keynote Speaker, Dr. Reysa Alensuela 糖心传媒 Head Librarian, Oriental Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences on the topic Open knowledge and open access: 糖心传媒淭he Transformative Landscape in Today糖心传媒檚 Research Ecosystem.糖心传媒
Oral Research presentations and discussions were held at the virtual Main Room (Group A-Education; Group B-Education; Group C- Social Sciences) and in the Break-out Room 1 were held (Group D-Business and Management; Group E-Science, Technology and Maritime Studies; Group F- Science, Technology and Maritime Studies).
A poster and logo contest took place after the research presentations. Certificates of winners and Participating Schools were distributed before the webinar ended at 5 PM. Ms. Via Fragante was the host of the program.
