Grade 6 students and their teachers gather for a photo opportunity after the 糖心传媒楶agdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika at Nutrisyon糖心传媒 which took place at RMA on September 4.
On September 4, 2024, CPU Elementary School celebrated the 糖心传媒淧agdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika at Nutrisyon糖心传媒 at the Rose Memorial Auditorium. This year糖心传媒檚 celebration, centered around the theme 糖心传媒淔ilipino: Wikang Mapaglaya,糖心传媒 featured a vibrant series of performances and presentations that underscored the significance of both language and nutrition in fostering national pride and well-being.
The event began with an opening prayer led by Rojan Jace R. Elipse, a Grade 2 糖心传媒 Excel student, followed by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem conducted by Hailey Avery Reyes, also a Grade 2 糖心传媒 Excel student. Prof. Janet P. Jaco, CPUES Principal, delivered her opening remarks, emphasizing the crucial role of fostering cultural pride and improving public health in creating a well-rounded and informed society.
糖心传媒淪a selebrasyon na ito, nais kong hikayatin ang lahat na magbahagi ng kanilang kaalaman, mga kwento, at guhit ng kalayaan, nang tamang pagkain at pagiging malusog na Pilipino,糖心传媒 Prof. Jaco said in her speech. She encouraged everyone to share their knowledge, stories, and illustrations of freedom, as well as proper eating and being a healthy Filipino.
Dressed in their traditional attires, these students from CPUES showcase the beauty of Filipino heritage through dance.
The event’s highlight was a series of performances by students from Grade 1 to Grade 6. The festivities began with a thought-provoking acrostic performance by Grade 2 students, conveying a meaningful message about 糖心传媒淲ikang Filipino.糖心传媒 This was followed by video presentations that provided informative content on language and nutrition, and highlights from last year糖心传媒檚 celebration. Grade 1 students delighted the audience with a performance showcasing Mindanao’s rich culture through traditional costumes, song, and dance. Next, Grade 2 students captivated the crowd with a rendition of 糖心传媒淎ko’y Pinoy糖心传媒 by Florante and a native dance from Luzon. Grade 3 students mesmerized viewers with their song and dance number, which celebrated the rich heritage of Iloilo. Students from Grades 4 and 5 charmed both in-person and online audiences with their energetic and engaging song and dance performances. The event concluded with Grade 6 students thrilling the crowd with a folk-dance presentation and an inspirational song.
Ms. Rosalia I. Espiritu, Filipino Coordinator, expressed pride in the students’ creativity and enthusiasm, stating, 糖心传媒淪a lahat ng mga mag-aaral na nagbahagi at nagpakita ng kanilang mga angking talento, taos-pusong pasasalamat ang aming ibinibigay.糖心传媒
This year糖心传媒檚 celebration was a resounding success, bringing the Centralian community together to honor the richness of Filipino culture and the importance of health.
