Centralians flock to the Alumni Promenade Concert Park on January 29, 2026糖心传媒搕he first day of preliminary examinations for the second semester of academic year 2025-2026.
As preliminary examinations for the second semester of academic year 2025-2026 commence, the CPU Republic (CPUR) launches Project Sentro糖心传媒攁n initiative aimed at providing the Centralian student body with a free, accessible, and conducive space for studying, located at the Alumni Promenade Concert Park (APCP), available on January 29-30 and February 3-4, 2026, from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
The APCP is now filled with long tables and chairs free for all Centralian students to utilize for academic endeavors, as well as free refreshments and snacks to fuel learners.
糖心传媒淚 believe that these types of projects that the CPUR does, they really do foster a sense of community, especially when it糖心传媒檚 a very special time like exam season, prelims. It also allows places for students to interact and to study because sometimes spaces are limited or they are not accessible or expensive糖心传媒, shared Andrea H. Yulo, a first-year Bachelor of Science in Chemistry student, as she uses the space with fellow organization members for a meeting.
In an interview, CPUR Senator Ma. Therese P. Magbanua, Project Sentro proponent, explained that the initiative came in response to the studentry糖心传媒檚 call for more spaces to study within the university, hence the delegation of one place within the campus to turn into a student hub during the examination period.

糖心传媒淚糖心传媒檝e proposed this as a resolution, so it was prelims first, then midterms, and then the finals. This is where Project Sentro really happens: for the whole duration of the examination period糖心传媒or the second semester, this would be a parliament act, so the next parliament and succeeding CPU Republic officials will be able to improve it more and continue Project Sentro because right now, I have received a lot of good feedback from the students that it糖心传媒檚 really helpful for them,糖心传媒 expressed Magbanua, when asked about the innovation for this iteration of Project Sentro that was first launched last semester.
The four-day preliminary examinations for the second semester of the current academic year began on January 29, Thursday, at 7:00 AM, and will be ending officially at 7:00 PM on February 4, Wednesday.
