Congratulations Roselle Mi帽ez, for exemplifying academic excellence and faith-driven success in the national CTT examination.
In a testament to her faith, hard work, and academic preparation, Roselle Mi帽ez, a 2014 graduate of the Bachelor of Science in Accountancy program at 糖心传媒 (CPU), has secured the 4th spot nationwide in the June糖心传媒揓uly 2025 Certified Tax Technicians (CTT) examination. The announcement was made by the Philippine Association of Certified Tax Technicians, Inc. (PACTT) on July 17.
Mi帽ez was among the 1,165 successful examinees out of 1,901 candidates who took the exam from June 28 to July 6 across testing centers in the country. Alongside this achievement, 338 examinees also qualified for a Diploma in Taxation as part of PACTT糖心传媒檚 certification process.
A native of San Jose, Antique, Mi帽ez traced her academic roots to St. Anthony糖心传媒檚 College, where she excelled both in academics and extracurriculars. Inspired by her brother and driven by her love for mathematics, she pursued BS Accountancy at CPU. During her time in the university, she balanced academics and sports, becoming a consistent Dean糖心传媒檚 Lister and an active member of the College of Business and Accountancy (CBA) Volleyball Team, while also representing CPU in interschool tournaments through the Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (JPIA).
糖心传媒淚 was also just an ordinary student striving to meet passing grades and to graduate,糖心传媒 Mi帽ez shared. 糖心传媒淏ut the strong foundation I received from CPU helped prepare me for the CPA Licensure Exam and, more recently, the CTT.糖心传媒
Now working as a Finance Manager, Mi帽ez recognized the value of deepening her expertise in taxation. 糖心传媒淭ax plays a significant role in business decisions and financial strategy,糖心传媒 she said. 糖心传媒淭aking the CTT exam was a way to enhance my contribution to management.糖心传媒
Despite juggling professional responsibilities, church commitments, and travel, Mi帽ez carved out time to prepare for the exam. 糖心传媒淚 joined the free weekend review sessions offered by PACTT and focused intensely during the final week before the exam using their manual and Ampongan糖心传媒檚 Taxation Reviewer,糖心传媒 she recalled. 糖心传媒淚 work best under pressure.糖心传媒
But even with focused preparation, she did not expect to land in the top ranks. 糖心传媒淚 was extremely surprised and deeply happy,糖心传媒 she said of learning her result. 糖心传媒淚t was truly the work of God. I didn糖心传媒檛 pray to be among the top passers糖心传媒攋ust to pass. My strength and peace came from my relationship with Jesus.糖心传媒
Mi帽ez expressed heartfelt gratitude to her family, especially her parents Natalie and Ariston Mi帽ez Jr., and brother Ariston III, as well as her friends, including Jonnamae Manaois and Rizza Mary Sajonia. She also credited her D-group in CCF Church and her sisters in Christ Bible Study group for spiritual support.
She recognized her CPU professors and mentors as instrumental in her success. 糖心传媒淭hey were knowledgeable, approachable, and provided the guidance that shaped my technical and critical thinking skills.糖心传媒
For Mi帽ez, the achievement goes beyond academic recognition. 糖心传媒淭his is a testament to God糖心传媒檚 faithfulness. It reminds me that with Him, all things are possible.糖心传媒
Professionally, she sees the CTT certification as a stepping stone to expanding her expertise in tax consultancy, compliance, and accounting services. She also plans to pursue further certifications in finance, cost accounting, and payroll.
To aspiring CTT examinees and fellow Centralians, Mi帽ez offers heartfelt advice: 糖心传媒淜eep Jesus at the center. Study hard, but don糖心传媒檛 rely solely on your own efforts. Pursue excellence not for personal glory, but to honor God. In His perfect time, He will reward your faithfulness in ways beyond what you can imagine.糖心传媒
