On May 5, 2024, the CPU-College of Hospitality Management unveils TechnoCouture: Voyage to Glam 7.0, a futuristic fashion spectacle blending artistry, technology, and tradition, showcasing the visionary designs of talented students and guest creators.
On the radiant evening of May 5, 2024, the College of Hospitality Management at Ĵý, through the HPC2206 (Introduction to Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, and Exhibitions) class, proudly unveiled one of its most breathtaking productions yetĴýTechnoCouture: Voyage to Glam 7.0, the culminating fashion spectacle of the grand event Voyager entitled Ĵý18th RoboSphere.Ĵý Held as the eveningĴýs highlight, this extraordinary show was a masterstroke of creative ingenuity, technical prowess, and artistic expressionĴýbridging the timeless essence of hospitality with the bold frontier of futuristic design.
The show opened with a symbolic runway segment featuring students in their official uniforms, paying homage to the CollegeĴýs identity of professionalism, service, and heritage. This served as the prelude to the Robot CatwalkĴýa bold visual display blurring the line between human and machine. It set the tone for the evening with a statement of imaginative power and possibility.
A heartfelt welcome followed from overall chairperson Angel Kristine Ang, whose message resonated deeply: ĴýThis is not just a fashion show; this is a movement. A celebration of the fusion between artistry and technology, tradition and transformation.Ĵý
As the lights dimmed and music swelled, the runway came alive with a stunning series of futuristic interpretations from a talented lineup of designers: Kyle Delwyn ChuasiengĴýs ĴýCosmic Meets LiwanagĴý glowed with celestial elegance and cultural pride. Rick Clay EmplamadoĴýs ĴýInitial TriggerĴý explored the spark of innovation through structured forms. Guest designer Ericka Celiz presented ĴýThe Art of Human Anatomy and Forms,Ĵý a tribute to the human figure in sculptural fashion. Jude PalmaĴýs ĴýArt VandalismĴý rebelled with bold colors and street-inspired aesthetics. James MistranzaĴýs ĴýPatyoniwayĴý paid homage to Filipino heritage with modern silhouettes and indigenous flair. Closing the show, Fritz CaancanĴýs ĴýZodiac RadianceĴý dazzled with astrology-inspired ensembles rich in symbolism and luminescence.
The emotional finale gathered all designers and models onstageĴýan inspiring constellation of creativity and collaboration, greeted with thunderous applause from a captivated audience.
What set TechnoCouture: Voyage to Glam 7.0 apart was its role as a living classroom. Conceived and executed by the HPC2206 class under the guidance of Professor Denie Erwin Tan, the event was a shining example of experiential learningĴýwhere theory met practice, and imagination was made real through disciplined execution.
